I was horrified when I went there and the elephants had barely no water to roll around in on the hottest day of the year. I felt the space was very small for the animals even there and that may of the animals also looks very skinny.
the primates were the only animals with a luxurious waterfall although I felt the space was still a bit to small.
so I wonder if it really is a zoo problem. I much rather like the safari parks here in the UK where the animals have loads of space to run around and be natural.
LOl it does make me laugh when I hear about Qataris feeding the animals. Arabs just love to feed anything. And I can just imagine the qataris.. going awwwwwww poor animals.. lets take the kids to the zoo so we can feed them. And dropping by to get fresh veg just for the animals. MashAllah arabs are so lovely like that.
