but nothing ever beats a REAL book ~ i'm not in favor of downloading literature off the internet ~ it's just so... electronic +_+
i love holding the book in my hands, flipping its pages, the feel of papaer n_n
bedtime reading on your laptop?.. it's just not the same +_+
unfortunately there aren't any good libraries around here, i sometimes see people sitting in Jarir on some of the chairs scattered here & there but it's not a very inviting area to read with people and their sometimes screaming kids jumping around +_+ wish they, virgin or even the family bookshop in al-nasr considered creating a quiet reading space. Alas, what doesn't bring them money is never considered.
Jarir has some good books but i've always preferred family bookshop and now virgin. Never thought it was a good idea to mix stationary and school/office supplies with books ~ they could've at least dedicated a separate floor just for books ~ that sure would've been quiter.
But nowadays i buy most of my books from amazon.com anyway =)
