Thank you for the answer. my insurance is a comprehensive one. but my understanding of the situation is that the one at fault will be the one who will shoulder the cost of the the damages right? in this case, I am not paying for anything because it is not my fault. the problem is that we have the same insurance company. that is why I am thinking the insurance company is trying to minimize the cost because either way they will be the one who will pay for it.
