Islam hardly introduced the practice of polygamy, this was a widespread practice which was in place for much longer before the religon came down to this earth, in fact it was Islam which tried to put in place measures to ensure that this system wasn't abused. You're supposed to fulfil a strict set of conditions before you can have ONE wife, let alone four or ten or whatever...
And as for pork and wine being forbidden....booohooohooo, big deal, I can think of much bigger issues one would have to deal with..
