it is good option if company is willing to send you without cancellation...as you have option to come back in the same company or atleast to visit Qatar on that visa ..but there are two problems:
1. If you will come back to Qatar anytime during validity of your current visa, you would not be able to get visa from another company (in case you get employment in some other company in Qatar) and you would not be able to work with any other company.
2. you would not be able to get visa in Dubai unless you cancel your Qatari RP.
as per GCC immigration rules, you can't have two valid working visas stamped on passport simultaneously......
