Everyone's situation is different, so noone can tell u whether ur doing the right thing or not, it's for u to decide. Weigh out the pros and cons of being here, and if u find that the money ur earning is not worth the sacrifices ur making, then pack ur bags and go home or somewhere where ur happy :)
