Bring SNOW!!!!!!! Seriously, bring as many toys and especially books as the outlet for them is censored so not a great range and no real library to speak. You can bring shorts and t-shirts but they need to be knee-length and the shoulders need to be covered, a lot of ex-pats do flout this and it's not a good thing to do. Most things are available here but if you have certain favourite foods etc then I'd suggest you bring them as supply can be erratic at times and the range not great.
