in Canada (ONTARIO, by the way!!),I have very good friends lebanese, they are very friendly and nice people... lebanese are very quite in Canada, I never knew they have any "syndrome" until I came to Middle East...
Racism and the way of treating people based on their nationalities is a big crime in Canada. As a matter of fact you can omit in your CV your nationality, your religion, as well as your age, marital status... And even on the interview they don’t have the rights to ask you about it (at least during the official part of the interview) in order to avoid as I have said, treating candidates depends on their nationality, religion, age, and so on…
That’s why I am surprised to hear these kinds of voices here from NS residents and from those who went to study in there.. I still don’t understand where do they get it from?
