No doubts electric stoves are convenient as we never experienced power failure here.
You don't have to wait for gas cylinders & no worries about changing it. It doesn't produce carbon, so, good for your utensils as well,
but, if your meals require open flames then it's highly irritating & you can't make 'chapaty' on an electrical one too:(
So, my recommendations to a combination one ... a stove with 2/3 hot plates & 2/3 gas burners:)
