My parents never told us that Santa was more than a game - that we all liked .Personally ,I feel sorry for the kids who were told false things by their parents .I remember a Christmas when I found my 10 years old cousin crying with very big sadness -because she had asked Santa for many years to give her a little brother or sister .Then the parents told her that nor Santa nor anybody else can arrange that for her unfortunately ..
How sad she was - to learn that there is not an omnipotent old man who is ready to help her!
Kids might loose their faith in God if they learn that Santa was just a lie .
And the faith is the thing that will protect our kids in their life - when in big trouble .
it is an interesting question : how to give real faith to our kids ? How to give them that real power which is more than a custom ?
