Right decision by King. Although the word 'exoneration' would have sat better than 'pardoned'.
Kudos to the Arab media for doing so much to highlight this issue and bringing it to the attention of other media. This, I believe, was the catalyst for the King making this decision.
Kudos to her Saudi lawyer who appeared a lot on the Arab media discussing the decision. He continues to fight to get his licence back and has said that he will devote his career to further the cause of human rights in Saudi.
Let's hope that this horrendous event will be the start of Saudi dragging themselves out of the Dark Ages in the way they treat their women. Inshallah.
