just go with the original Dubai license (6 months validity minimum) and its copy, plus take ur residence permit copy also.

Take your eye test and then pay around 250 riyals along wiht these copies and eye test result and eureka!.. u will get ur license immiedtaly!... juts make sure you go early in the morning, may be at around 7.45, to avoid the queues.
