Well, I was in Doha from 1998 to 2003 and we had a lovely group of friends and so much of socializing that there was hardly any time for ourselves. I have returned now - while many of the old friends are still here, I have cut down the "socializing" part ..... Would however love to meet some new friends.

Buttercupryle is perfectly right - you cannot get real friends by posting a thread - you have to build a relationship slowly ....
