what you can do to is to try holding both cameras and see which one you are comfortable with, since you will be using youir digital slr most of the time once you get addicted to taking pics.... most dslr have different specifics but still it depends on the person taking the shot.. one person said "if you have a nikon, you are just the owner of a nikon camera, but it doesn't make you a good photographer" practice they said and take as many clicks as you want and learn from it. happy dslr hunting... by the way I'm using olympus e520.. it's a great camera too...
