You draw the line at someone insulting you.....what about if your beliefs insult others? What then? You and these others would be headed towards WAR as the only way you can interact....Tolerance is the ONLY answer.
The minute tolerance has an "end" and that end is when religious views are insulted, then tolerance goes out the window.
This may work if a society is homogenious and EVERYONE believes in the same thing...but that kind of society is fast dissapearing....the world is becomming a global village...we'd better learn tolerance and abandon our desire to burn books and people or we as a species are doomed =(
