I agree I have not really seen deliberate hijacking of a QL thread to limit the comments to it, I just commented on it in this thread after reading the following post:

"Thats exactly what we are trying to do make all lose interest in this topic as renee as usual will post some topic and will not resond thats what she /he always does"
