Sorry it sounded condecening and I certainly did not mean YOU...you are tolerant and open minded...I meant Canada due to being an immigrant built society, its multi ethnic, multi cultural, multi racial, multi religious, etc...it is MUCH more tolerant than other societies that some hard line posters come from where they totally attack you if you happen not to share their definition of what is sacred!

As for good manners, yes I agree...and I ceratinly don't doubt that you would ever do it intentionally but I want to point to a theoretical example just to illustarte.

Suppose you are having a discussion with a HARDLINE atheist who thinks that the very idea of a god is offensive....is he allowed to ask you to stop ever mentioning the word (for instance please don't say inshallah its offensive to me)? Of course not its ludicrous....but if a religious person finds his comments blasphemous you would support him in saying don't blaspheme!

So my point is this a public forum and you cannot force people to blaspheme or not to blaspheme....its their choice...if there's a god who does not like it, then they will be punished accordingly no?

What i'm trying to say is that I may not agree with what is said but I support people's right to say them...in that regard I am a staunch advocate of free speech....the by product (or price of this freedom) is that some people will say stuff you do not want to hear....but the alternative (censorship) opens up a can of worms that is MUCH worse imho.

Stay safe mon ami =)

Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
