hi.. the one who will certify your documents can be a lawyer or notary public..just make sure that the one who certifies your documents will be the same person who will certify all other documents.. so this person/lawyer/notary public is within your reach just in case you need to have other documents certified in the future..I had my documents certified in my home country as it is cheaper and I also have a friend who is a lawyer.. hope this helps..
