Freedom of expression is not a good thing? Respect is paramount to a mature discussion, but in some of the people's defense (who are named by this thread as the culprits) Respect is a 2 way street! I will undoubtably be accused of being part of the clique because I happen to Agree with most of Gypsy's comments for instance (though I suspect that it is because of our common upbringing in an open and tolerant society, NOT because we are friends...I have not met her yet).

But in THIS part of the world this courtesy is not extanded....people hide behind their beliefs and are used to being treated with reverence and NOT questioned....i'm sorry but your beilefs are fair game, and they are open to scrutiny and criticism....if you cannot defend them, then don't post them....the only thing I dislike is childish name calling, that's a mark of immaturity....but Renee (from the few posts I have read) seems to do just that....if she has a valid point to make it would make her argument stronger if she refrained from name calling.

For the record, I personally think this forum is too lenient with its rules....its regulations and guidelines are continuously broken (by almost everyone, myself included on some occasions) with very little consequence....though I suspect its because of the sheer size of these forums that the admins are just trying to keep up.

Stay safe all.

Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
