I personally do NOT think this thread is interesting....which is why I have refrained from posting (up to now)...but I understand that others MIGHT!
So having said that.....yes it is a public forum....but there is such a thing as simple etiquette....you can have friendly conversations on another thread....that is why its called highjacking....and it is generally considered rude regradless of wether YOU think this thread has merit or not....so in this sense, I have to agree with Bajesus and Jasskat....sorry guys.
I also did not add anything to the thread (as titled) and apologize if I commited the faux pas of highjacking too....but I saw a discussion about net etiquette and had to get a post in....my apologies to the OP.
Stay safe all.
Edit- Just to add Jasskat....with all due respect, yes everyone is entitled to an opinion, but be prepared to defend it, otherwise don't post....I disagree with name calling (that's childish), but you CAN critizise (even harshly) idiotic comments....freedom of speech gives the right to voice any opinion, but does not stop criticism (in a mature fashion).
Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?
