I agree that there is a big difference between clinical depression and topical depression. Mine was due to a reason rather than a chemical depression and the 'cure' that worked for me may not be suitable for everyone.

There is a danger though that people with a topical depression get given drugs that do not help them. I agree that the first thing a person should do is get professional help.

When I was in high school two friends of mine in 12th grade committed suicide due to depression. It is almost intolerably sad to think about it and how perhaps they could have been helped. There is no shame in depression it is a serious an illness as cancer. Those affected, owe it to themselves to get professional help.
