a few years ago. I won't bore you with the reasons but I went to a doctor who prescribed me with anti-depressants. These made me feel a lot worse and very tired and lethargic. I told the doctor that I didn't want to take them and I wanted to try something else. He suggested running. I did this starting out at 3 miles three times a week. Pretty soon I was up to 25 miles a week and after two months I was running 40 miles a week.

Apart from getting very lean and fit, I started to feel great. It was a great way to get away from myself. I never realized quite how boring I was until I was depressed and had to spend so much time with myself. Running was a great cure though, the phenomes released from the exercise really lifted me and people told me that I looked great. I think it is time I started doing this again.

Just a thought. It might work for your friend and it sure won't do her any harm.
