Hi Alexa and Patty,

thanks for you reply. Of course I will write here in English in the future. That was only a start-up to find out who really speaks German. I'm used to work in international environments ....so don't worry it's gonna be cool. As far as I understand it's a privilege here for the locals to work for Al Jazeera as this is apart from Qatar Airways the best marketing tool they have for their country. So everybodey seems to be very proud to work for AJ and it also seems to open some other doors. That's what I have heard so far. Can't confirm yet :-) However that's not the only issue I woudl have with this country. It's more the men society here. I am used and enjoyed an atmoshere where women are always involved on the same level the men are. That might be a difficulty for me in the long term. And I don't find the country is beautiful at all. I went around to several places at the seaside or up country and couldn't discover anything particular nice. Just a human unfriendly natur. And that's more I have to cope with. I live in Munich / Bavaria. Fresh air, natur as much as you like. In summer we go hiking or swiming in the lakes around. In winter we go skiing. Best life quality you can get at least in Europe. But also high tec companies like Microsoft, HP, Siemens , IBM, and so on are based here. TV companies, film production....almost everything. So, for me it's not an easy decision to go to Doha in the desert, as a single man. Believe me. But I also see the challenge and adventure. No question :-) Let's see. If I come I will meet you all once :-) All the best for now. Martin
