There have been some stupid and offensive comments on this thread and I am sorry but not surprised to hear about Gypsy's experience at Orion. But Lets put this in context.
I know or have met many of you from QL including Alexa, Gypsy, Jauntie, Scarlett, Azi, Jax, Red Pope, Charan, Vasquez and a lot more. I also know quite a few Qataris both socially and through work and even through QL. I have no problem whatsoever with Qataris or Arabs in general. I love the Qataris sense of humor and have never had a bad experience with a Qatari (except on the road). I won't say I like Arabs because that is an asinine thing to say. Its like saying I like life, its meaningless. What I mean is that some Arabs are jerks like anyone else and can make life unpleasant. What is really intolerable is when that tiny minority abuse their religion, let down their fellow muslims and use imagined and ridiculous sensitivities as excuses to subject us to their hatred.
These people give muslims a bad name everywhere and I would argue that they are not true muslims anymore than Christian racist fundamentalists are true christians. Its just a shame that these people can hide behind Islam.
