BlackPrince, I agree with you, perhaps that's what people shoud be looking at, rather than putting all the blame squarely on foreigners, which I find pretty uncalled for, not only because the team I support always has to bear the brunt of the criticism, but because such claims are well wide of the mark and to put it mildly, rubbish.
There is hope though, Arsenal have some promising English youngsters in their ranks, obviouisly Walcott comes to mind, but you also have the Hoyte brothers, Lansbury, Connolly , Simpson, and a few others and all these youngsters are being trained the same way as the first team. Ashley Cole is proof that if you are good enough, you will get your chance (even if you end up blowing it all up at the end for an extra 5 grand a week)
