Come on guys, Please do not compare your basic salary in QP. QP is paying huge salaries to everyone and a Project Engineer in QP will be getting 10000 riyals or even more as basic salary. This guy is going to do his first overseas job so give him a reasonable reply. If you are getting 5500 as basic your salary package in total including accommodation, transportation etc. should be like Qr. 10000/- which is not a very big offer but it is not bad for a person who have no experience abroad. Please check first what sort of accommodation, transportation and food they will be providing to you. (As per Qatari Labour law the Basic salary should be 60% of the total salary. You should also check with them about your family status as the minimum salary requirement for applying a family visa is Qr.7000/-
