DO NOT GIVE HER COWS MILK - just water down the canned food so it's almost like a thick soup.
As for the litter box, put her in, move her front paws gently around and then leave her alone. She may not use it right away but make sure she has access to it all the time - kittens are very smart at training themselves, I've never had one that had an accident outside the box.
