The only contract that I am aware of and it accepted here in Qatar is the 'Nikah Nama'. If that is original I do not see any issue there.

I also suggest you to make a decision in a calmly fashion. Make sure you love him AND he loves you. This is a very important decision and your whole life depends on this decision.
