Come on friends, I know what is that. Once upon a time before 1980 when the sponsorship law came in the visas which were bought from some Qataris were called Azad visa or free visa. The person who came to Qatar on this visa were allowed to work any where and their sponsor will give their signature on the application form for renewing the residence permit. Some were charging upto Qr. 1500-00 for the signature and some were giving it free. They were even taking money for the exit permit. I think some people are still thinking of that period and calling the visas as free or azad visas believing that there is no need to work under their sponsor.
