Also boring? Depends on the company you keep... I miss decent theatre etc but here I have great friends!
I am sure the Qataris who go to their farms and bbq a sheep and sit around the fire talking aren't bored either.

Weather is better here now than home
My pay is better so i can do more things / go more places

Dubai is cool because it is open...duh?

i love the fact that so many malls/hotels can be built here and there are many Qataris it doesn't touch - they just go to the desert and sit with the camels. Good on you for having the integrity to carry on your traditons. you should be respected for that not called boring
