I don't think it's really fair to say not to support a pet shop.
I understand that it would be impossible to make a list of 'farmers', but lets say someone has a genuine petshop and 'caters' to petlovers needs?

I have a Shi tzu (spelling?) and Toy Poodle I bought from a Petshop and I love them so much. Home in Bahrain wouldn't be the same without being greeted by their friendly faces.

(I love it how Bella parades around the house as if to tell me "see? I took care of it while you were gone!")

Anyway, what I mean to say is, lets say I wanted a husky (which I do :P) what do I do if I can't find the pet to adopt?
