I would say start with the craft shows they hold around Christmas time. Once you get involved with one, I'm sure you'll here about all the others. The women/moms from the American School hold one at a hotel every year. The College of the North Atlantic also holds one. Both of these are late Novemeber or early December so you might want to call either one of the schools to get more info. Also, check out expatwoman.com on the Qatar chatboard.
