i'v been twice to thailand.. better to book it here with QatarAirways...look for a hotel in the downtown in Bangkok as taxi rip you if they dont go on meter.
Pataya is a sex industry...but its good experience.
Phuket is a must visit beautiful beach with crystal clear water. you can either fly or route with Bus service but might be tiring as its i guess 9 hours drive.
Check Ambassador hotel (located at 171 Sukhumvit Road soi 11) which is in downtown & gave good service while i was there the first time.
PS: if you were a guy,, i would have recommended Soap Massage!! :P :P dosen't mean i had myslf..!! :D
but yeah,,never come back without an oil massage, they do it soo fine there.
