I don't mean to polarise the participants here, but this topic was a cause of genuine concern because this is akin to public shaming / snitching which is viewed (read: looked down upon) as an extreme step in many societies unless the instigating act involved gross impropriety / illegality. The contents of the mails did have (or appeared to me as having) very appeasing tones rather than inflammatory.
Fembot and Mariam probably correctly picked up on the innocuous harmlessness of the situation.
