The types of 'obligations' are very much down to family dynamics.
It depends how traditional the family is.
Are the women in his family allowed to drive?
Are the women in his family allowed to go to shopping malls?
If so escorted or alone?
Do they cover their hair or do they veil?
Are the women university educated?
etc etc
