As per what i heard last, the black points will show till December end of 2009 . After that you start fresh with a clean slate . However effective 2010 start , the blackpoints will be carried forward each year . So 2009 is lucky trial year with no points carried forward .
This was told to me by Traffic department , when i paid my last fine and have quite some points to my name .
