Thanks for sharing this one with us, life is always about good and bad and even that cake. It is sweet, but there would be some salt needed in some cakes to make it taste better in the end. God is just testing us, preparing us for having the good things in last. The purpose is to know if we deserve that or not, thanking god in the good and the bad should be always there.

You can't only thank him for the good things in your life and ask him why when it comes to the bad things. Both are from him, the good and the bad. The good things to thank him, and the bad things also to thank him.
