Yeah, I figured the winter weather wouldn't be a bother to you. It did rain quite a bit the first winter we were there. That was the hardest thing for me. We left the states in mid August, hottest part of our summer really. Got to Melbourne and it was so cold, windy and rainy. It took me a while to get used to it. Don't know if I should admit this, being an American housewife and all, but I acutally got totally hooked on Aussie Rules Football and Cricket. Once I understood the game of cricket, I never missed a match. The sports there are awesome as well. Great for the children who are into it.
