Liasing taxis can be a hassle, people have had problems with that for example he said he wasn't free, or he was too late to pick them up, etc. So having a car would be much more convenient and probably cheaper.

As for the car, u can browse through the website in the classified ads section and u'll find alot of cars for sale.
