As soon as the price dropped, I bought 10. I'm unlocking them all and reselling them. Profit WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
They dropped it by 200 dollars (100 pounds or 730 QR) because they want enough people do buy it so that they're tied to iTunes.
Perhaps they want enough people to buy it because the 3G version is coming out in a month?
Perhaps they are scared of the Nokia version of the iPhone and the fact that both LG and Samsung are releasing their own.
Nokia's version will be amazing because of the 5mp, satnav, wifi, bluetooth, and so many more features that the iPhone wont have.
At the end of the day, they want to secure a large base.
I bought 3 originally two days before the price drop. Took them back and got 600 dollars back :)
