No, you are wrong. No bank can do any action like imposing travel ban immediately after getting termination letter. Bank has to report to police and thereafter to immigration department to impose travel ban, but this wll be applicable if he has due amount (arrears) for more than 3 months. Normally he can leave the country, but while he come bak to doha, immigation ban (black listed) will be there and he will be caught. can release only after getting NOC from the concerned bank.
Termination by the employer will be covered by the loan insurance, but most of the bank hide this information from the loan borrower. i.e bank representative will not give the insurance policy copy stating which are the items covered under insurance.
I think, the guy(neplai guy) had given wrong information to the bank while filling the application for loan. ie, if he says, the purpose of loan is for his sister's surgery, no bank will approve his loan!
