Hey there Merodisaster, I'll try to come up with a few answers to you:
1.- I'm graduating in 2-4 years, will it be easy to find a job then? will experience be required or just preferred?
Maybe by the time you perform your internship you can try and land an opportunity in the company so you can start gaining experience. But so far the O&G market worldwide is looking for experienced people all over.
2.- will studying in TAMUQ makes me different when applying my resume for employment?
Maybe it can give a plus, maybe. But in the end it will depend on your performance and interview process.
3.- I heard from a friend that oil companies here (QP and RasGas) are just for Qataries, is it ture?
If it was true then the many expatriates working here in Qatar in the O&G industry would not be necessary. Don't you think so? But there is some preference for new employment opportunities for qatari nationals to get into the "QATARIZATION PROGRAM".
4.- if not, and I get to work there, what salary should I expect?
As per your questions salary expectation should not be a concern to you right now, since yu are just starting the university. Salary revisions in some companies are once a year, and the incremental is based in many aoutside and inside elements that right now could not allow to say you will be earning XX ammount of money in 4 years time.
Hope these responses will help you on making the decision and the best of luck to you.
