For transfer to India it is only QRs 10 per transaction.
The exchange rate they offer for online transfer is very good. (Once you login to the site, you get better rate than what is normally offered on their web site or by many Exchange Houses-Comparison made with many exchange houses, not mentioning the names here as I am not sure if it is allowed in the forum policy).
If you have an account with Axis Bank (I guess also with Indus bank and Federal Bank or Canara bank - not sure which one of these two), the money is credited to your Indian account in real time.
On the other hand, if you have account with any other bank in India, it will be credited to your account on the next working day. In this case, the Qatar end charge is same QRs 10 per transaction, but there will be a charge of INR 70 or INR 50(INDIAN RUPEES Seventy or Fifty only)from Indian end, depending on the correspondent bank in India (70 for transfer thru' Axis and 50 for transfer thru' Indus). Unfortunately, since we have no control on the selection of correspondent bank, assume that it will be INR 70.
In general, my Vote goes for transfer from Doha Bank to Axis Bank, good rate + real time transfer, just for QR 10.
