No need for a police report, just ask your sponsor to arrange a letter to traffic dept. (a must) then you go to khaifa traffic dept. to the officer, show your ID and the letter, and pay QAR 250, and they will give you a new one.. while standing.. and validity 5 years from date of applying (till 2014)..
