hi joan ... my son started at 20 mths ... in the beginning i send him 3 times a week. Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday (i alternate the day). Having a full time maid is not an option for me ... and i do need a break from him for few hrs. For his sanity and mine lol.
I sent him to nursery with spare nappies. He stopped his bottle at 12 months. So i just give his milk at home then send him there. I drop him about 8 and pick him up about 12.
I was heart broken on the first day ... he cried when i try to leave the school ... But when i picked him up ... he was a happy chap ... sitting on the teacher's lap while the teacher reading the kids a book.
In your daughter age ... most nursery have option how many days you want to send the kids. So my suggestion you should try it on for twice a week first and see how it goes.
In my opinion ... sending kids to nursery is good for the social aspect. And it is also make them less clingy.
I am sure other mums can post her thought regarding on this matter:D
