I dint recommend samsung because, a first cousin of mine got a Samsung LCD 32" recently, but the picture quality aint like it was displayed in the showroom,, when enquired the sales person told, that the clearity in the LCD at the showroom was a result of high quality DVD used for the reason.

both comes in different resolutions, its your choice how much you are ready to pay for an LCD.
