My old cat looked like that when I got him over 20 years ago (he's long gone now) and if he's a street cat in origin, he'll be healthier and stronger than normal domestic cats. Law of survival I suppose.
I noticed you mentioned that he came from a 'home' cat? What do you mean?
It looks like he is a tabby mix, but he has the distinctive face shape of local kittens.
