I dont work. But i have many friends who works part time or full time. I am not too sure about working from home though. Most of my friends they work at school as teacher or as a teacher assistant. One or two working in Qatar Foundation.
When you work from home it is consider as running a business, i am not too sure where you stand about this 51 percents Qatari partner. In Qatar you have to have a 51 percents of Qatari sponsor for doing any form of business ... regardless what sort of business (restaurant or shops or others).
I wonder any other QL members can shed some lights about this?
Btw ... you ask me what do i do for my sparetime. I dont work, but believe me i dont have much spare time left on my hand. QL and running around my 6 yrs old and try to keep up date with coffee morning around Doha keep me busy enough lol.
Good luck with the moving ... ( just in case you decided to take up the adventure living in Doha).
