The iPhone will not be expensive in the Middle East (as some have said)
(I run a successfull mobile business in the UK)
1) Arabs do not like change and don't welcome new mobile manufacturers easily. Nokia and SE are phones of Choice
2) Apple will want to get a decent market share
3) People in the Middle East want something easy to use and the iPhone needs constant syncing with iTunes
4) Phones are cheaper than any country in the world in Qatar (Talking about original phones)
5) The phone is Expected to be released January 2008
I don't know why people are so excited about it because
1) it doesn't support mms
2) it does not support MP3 ringtones
3) it does not have sat-nav
4) it does not have 3G
(I could go on)
