180 Proof is on the money. The word 'love' in English is notoriuosly vague. The meaning of the word as Lennon uses it is more in line with the Trascendental Meditation technique he was practicing - the love for all humanity, and the sense that one is following one's dharma, (duty, truth, etc). The Bhagavad Gita's idea of putting aside one's grievances and getting on with the battle (understood as a metaphorical battle). Love in this sense becomes the opposite of craving and need - it is a state of living in which one simply is - perhaps not dissimilar to the psychedelic experience, in which Lennon was thoroughly steeped.

give me your best philosopy guys !!!
